history

History is the study of change over time, and it covers all aspects of human society. Political, social, economic, scientific, technological, medical, cultural, intellectual, religious and military developments are all part of history.

ANCIENT HISTORY

Ancient history is a time period from the beginning of writing and recorded human history to as far as late antiquity. The span of recorded history is roughly 5,000 years, beginning with the Sumerian cuneiform script. Ancient history covers all continents inhabited by humans in the period 3000 BC – AD 500.

FRENCH REVOLUTION

The French Revolution was a time of social and political upheaval in France and its colonies that began in 1789 and ended in 1799. Inspired by liberal and radical ideas, Its overthrow of the Monarchy influenced the decline of absolute Monarchies in other parts of Europe.

ARCHAEOLOGY STUDY

Archaeology or archeology is the study of human activity through the recovery and analysis of material culture. The archaeological record consists of artifacts, architecture, biofacts or ecofacts, sites, and cultural landscapes. Archaeology can be considered both a social science and a branch of the humanities.

WORLD WAR 2

World War II or the Second World War, often abbreviated as WWII or WW2, was a global conflict that lasted from 1939 to 1945. The vast majority of the world's countries, including all of the great powers, fought as part of two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis.

HISTORY OF GERMANY

In 962, the Kingdom of Germany formed the bulk of the Holy Roman Empire. During the 16th century, northern German regions became the centre of the Protestant Reformation. Following the Napoleonic Wars and the dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire in 1806, the German Confederation was formed in 1815.

2000-1200 BCE

IRON AGE

The Iron Age is the final epoch of the three-age division of the prehistory and protohistory of humanity. It was preceded by the Stone Age (PaleolithicMesolithicNeolithic) and the Bronze Age. The concept has been mostly applied to Iron Age Europe and the Ancient Near East, but also, by analogy, to other parts of the Old World. It is also considered the third phase, of three, in the Metal Ages.

1800 BCE

ALPHABETIC WRITING APPEARED

The early alphabetic writing started about four thousand years ago. According to many scholars, it was in Egypt that alphabetic writing developed between 1800 and 1900 BC. The origin was a Proto-Sinaitic (Proto-Canaanite) form of writing that was not very well known.

1700 BCE

END OF INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION

The Indus valley civilization started declining from about 1700 BCE. Changes in climate, decline of trade with Mesopotamians, drying up or flooding of the river, foreign invasion of Indus civilisation might have been the reasons for the decline of this civilization.

1400 BCE

WATER CLOCK IS INVENTED IN EGYPT

1417–1379 BC, during the reign of Amenhotep III where it was used in the Temple of Amen-Re at Karnak. The oldest documentation of the water clock is the tomb inscription of the 16th century BC Egyptian court official Amenemhet, which identifies him as its inventor.

1027 BCE

IN CHINA, CHOU DYNASTY BEGAN

According to Chinese history, the Chou dynasty was established in the eleventh or twelfth century BC, when King Wu Wang (d. 1115 BC), the ruler of the western frontier state of Chou, overthrew Chou Hsin (c. 1154–c. 1122 BC), the last Shang king.
